This week’s artifact is a pair of wedding slippers worn by Elizabeth Campbell (neé Oille) at her wedding on September 17, 1889. Mrs. Campbell was involved in numerous charitable organizations and amateur theatre. Her husband John S. Campbell was later Mayor of St. Catharines.
