This week’s artifact is a container for headache and pain tablets produced by the J.N. Walker Medicine Co. in St. Catharines c.1914-1940. The pills contained acetylsalicyclic acid (Aspirin) and phenacetin, which has since been withdrawn from medicinal use in Canada.
