Artifact of the Week: 1958 Minor Baseball Crest
These were the days in St. Catharines Minor Baseball were you had to compete for a spot on the house league teams. If you were good/fortunate enough to make “the cut” you could proudly wear the cap and t-shirt of the team you were assigned . Personally it was my second year I made the grade and had a chance to play for a couple more … Coach Porky Douglas was a very big influence on me..as a ballplayer and a person.
